1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website at houstonsecureit.com or purchasing any service from HoustonSecureIT, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you may not use our services. HoustonSecureIT is a Texas-based business operating in Houston and surrounding areas.

2. Services

HoustonSecureIT provides the following services:

• On-site Firewalla hardware installation and configuration
• Network security audits and vulnerability assessments
• Parental controls and IoT network segmentation setup
• VPN configuration and remote access setup
• Managed monthly network security monitoring (Secure Home Pro)
• Managed small business security services (Secure Business)
• Hardware sales and installation bundles

Services are provided in Houston, TX and surrounding areas including Katy, Sugar Land, The Woodlands, Pearland, Pasadena, and Clear Lake. Travel outside these areas may incur additional fees agreed upon in advance.

3. Scheduling & Appointments

Appointments are scheduled through our online booking system. An adult (18+) must be present for the entire duration of any on-site service. We require reasonable access to your network equipment and router. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations (under 24 hours) or no-shows may be subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

4. Payment Terms

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize HoustonSecureIT to charge you for the services selected.

• One-time services (e.g., Secure Start) are billed in full at time of purchase
• Monthly plans (Secure Home Pro, Secure Business) are billed on a recurring monthly basis
• Hardware purchases are billed at time of order
• All prices are in USD and subject to applicable Texas state and local taxes

5. Cancellation Policy

Monthly managed service plans (Secure Home Pro and Secure Business) may be cancelled at any time with 30 days written notice sent to info@houstonsecureit.com. There are no long-term contracts. You will continue to receive service through the end of your current billing period. Refunds for one-time services are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and are subject to our satisfaction guarantee.

6. Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind our work. If you are not satisfied with a completed installation, contact us within 7 days and we will return to address the issue at no additional charge. If we are unable to resolve the issue, we will issue a full refund for the service fee. Hardware costs are non-refundable once installed. Our "on-time arrival or $25 off" guarantee applies when we arrive more than 15 minutes after the scheduled appointment window.

7. Client Responsibilities

To ensure successful service delivery, clients agree to:

• Provide accurate information about their network setup and requirements
• Ensure an adult is present for the full duration of on-site visits
• Provide access to internet equipment, modem, and router
• Have their ISP account credentials available if needed for modem configuration
• Back up any important data before service begins (we are not responsible for data loss)

8. Limitation of Liability

HoustonSecureIT is not responsible for pre-existing network issues, ISP outages, hardware defects in third-party devices, or cybersecurity incidents that occur despite our services. Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim. We do not guarantee that our services will prevent all cyber threats, unauthorized access, or data breaches.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of HoustonSecureIT and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. Firewalla® is a registered trademark of Firewalla Inc. HoustonSecureIT is an independent service provider and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Firewalla Inc.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Harris County, Texas. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
